
Ken Shilling is responsible for the financial,
legal and administrative
functions at Vanguard, including quarterly reporting to LP's,
audit and
tax reporting, cash management, budgeting, accounting, payroll,
human
resources, IT, and assistance with term sheets and cap tables.
Prior to joining Vanguard, Ken was the CFO at
Satwik Ventures from 2001 through 2003, and Crossfire Ventures
from 1999 to 2001. Ken has had industry CFO roles since 1993
in the semiconductor, software and internet sectors, culminating
in a successful 1995 IPO road-show with Zycon Corporation
(ZCON). In 1997 he led a successful $700 million merger with
Hadco (HDCO), which was later acquired by Sanmina (SANM).
Ken was with Zycon for 12 years. Ken earned his CPA while
at PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Jose, where he worked in
both the audit and tax departments, focused primarily in the
high-tech manufacturing and software industries.
Ken graduated from Stanford University with
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, and earned his MBA
from the University of Santa Clara.
